Key Responsibilities:

* Is an integral part of both the Unit HR leadership team and Diversity and Workforce Programs organization. 
•  Acts as the single point of contact for Business Unit HR/line leaders 
•  Develop the business unit workforce strategy and team with Finance on the resource planning process. 
•  Coordinate the HR content for the Fall/Spring Plan on behalf of the BU HR VP 
•  In close consultation with line and HR management define the unit learning strategy and education requirements 
•  Provide WMI leadership including tool deployment, skill gap assessment and closure strategies (learning programs, hiring, de-staffing, etc) 
•  Focus on labor cost including management of restructuring actions and reporting (resource actions and performance management) 
•  Drive diversity initiatives across the BU and within business lines. Report to HR leaders diversity status and recommend approaches to improve representation 
•  Deploy with IST learning programs, career models and BU workforce initiatives 
•  Collaborate with DWP Policy and Programs team to provide unit input on enterprise policies and programs 
•  Team with BU Business and Technical Leadership team on programs and initiatives that are directed at leaders and the broader IBM population 
•  Manages Board Governance related to workforce management initiative

 Detail Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1)	Handle income tax and FBT return process for a set of IBM India entities. 

2) Handle advance tax computation and payment for corporate taxes and FBT for a set of IBM India entities.
 
3) Handle income tax advisory services pertaining to both domestic and export business with specific emphasis on withholding taxes.

4) Provide support for Mergers and Acquisition activity from a tax perspective.

5) Provide support for transfer pricing compliance and litigation


 	Desired Candidate Experience:

 1) Chartered Accountant with about 2-3 years post qualification experience in the field of direct taxation. 

2) Should be well versed in income tax compliance matters like tax return filing, FBT, TDS, etc. 

3) Should have prior experience in transfer pricing study and litigation. 

4) Must be capable of handling income tax advisory ? both on domestic and cross border issues. 

5) Should possess working knowledge on Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements. 

6) Knowledge in Sarbanes Oxley law would be an added advantage

 Work with proposal production team to develop and prepare new business proposals, finalist presentations and other related materials.  This includes the following tasks:

o	Coordination of marketing proposals and presentations, including writing non-technical sections

	Provide support to other team members as needed     

 Performing tests for WLAN products and solutions.
