We are looking for exceptional Research Scientists to join our research team at Bangalore with skills and experience in the areas of Information Retrieval, Machine Learning, Algorithms, Multimedia and Distributed Computing. Your essential responsibilities include: ---------------------------------------- - Solve core problems with broad business impact in the areas of  Machine Learning, text mining, information retrieval, multimedia and distributed computing, and deliver innovative solutions - Interact with various engineering and product groups to understand / anticipate the needs and collect data - Nurture a talented and enthusiastic team of researchers and engineers to deliver well-performing technology components Job requirements: ---------------- - MS/PhD  from a reputed academic institution with research experience in the areas of Machine Learning, Text/Web Mining, Information Retrieval, Multimedia and related areas. - Solid track record in research as indicated by patents and publications. - Willingness to work with engineering teams and deliver in a business environment. - Inter-personnel communication, team building and mentorship skills - Prior research experience in the Web domain and web-related technologies is a big plus
