Roles and Responsibilities

POSITION: RF Hardware Engineer LOCATION: Lund, SWEDEN Assignment The department RF system and reference design has the responsibility for the definition, design, integration and verification of the RF part of the reference design hardware. The main purpose of the reference design is to secure customers time to market, by providing a pre-integrated HW platform. In order to secure the business company has a need to increase the number of RF HW engineers in Lund. The engineer is expected to have very good knowledge of RF HW design, preferably in the WCDMA applications. Job description The job involves mainly verification and trouble shooting on a WCDMA reference design system. Automation with MatLab as well driving pre-conformance test systems would most likely be a given task as well. Component verification and report writing are other tasks. You enjoy working both independently and in a small team and you are focused on reaching result on time. As a person you must be thorough and able to work with many different people. Required competence 1. RF HW experience +5 years preferably. 2. Good knowledge in WCDMA/GSM RF design. 3. Good knowledge of MatLab. 4. Ability to work with and control automated test equipment. 5. Ability to work in cross discipline teams solving complex problems. 6. Excellent interpersonal and cooperation skills. 7. Good planning, tracking and documentation abilities &Good communication skills in English. 8. Large degree of flexibility, willingness to take on different tasks and finish them in time. Wanted competence Knowledge of low level SW driving transceiver circuits. Assignment duration Assignments length: Fulltime 6-9 months (+).
