Roles and Responsibilities

Drive the technical strategy and guide team in meeting the strategic objectives. Design complex systems at the component level, makes strategic technology choices, and directly supervise the quality of designs and implementation inside and between components Arbitrates disagreements among engineers and make decisions where needed Coaches, mentors, and delegates to engineers to facilitate their development   Required Technical Skills: -------------------------- Product Architecture & Design using advanced OO Methodology, UML Expert in application & implementation of design patterns Multi-tier product architecture & design Advanced C++, STL, memory management Advanced Data Structures & Algorithms for optimal performance & memory Multitasking, Multithreading, Hyper threading & distributed computing in a cluster environments Multiplatform code development  to support, various flavors of 32/64 bit UNIX/Linux systems Interface with third party code/libraries Expertise in Scripting Languages Incr-TCL, TCL, TK, Shell programming Compilers, Debuggers, Make, Profiling tools on Unix/Linux, GUN tools & Utilities Knowledge/Experience of the following will be an added advantage: ----------------------------------------------------------------- Masters/Phd in Computer Science/EE EDA or Mechanical CAD product development Calibre & other mentor products Physical verification (DRC, LVS, DFM, Timing & Simulation, Place & Route, OPC) Open Access, OASIS, LEF-DEF, Cadence/Synopsys/Magma design databases
